K. Kamalaksha is a senior citizen who spent a distinguished career with the State Bank of India, serving in both India and London. Following his retirement from SBI, he held senior positions in the corporate sector in Mumbai and Bangalore, bringing banking expertise and financial acumen to India's private industry.

Now fully retired and residing in Bangalore, Kamalaksha writes from the vantage point of a citizen who has witnessed — and participated in — India's economic transformation over decades.
